Hello boys, I'm back...

After an extremely long hiatus, not quite a year, I'm back to work on this little blog of mine.  I have redesigned it and I'm happy with it, really happy...okay it's not professionally designed but it's pretty good in my eyes.

I have lots of ideas in what to fill it with, mostly with the things I love, everyday life and crafting.

Lots of things have happened over the past 10 months, one of which is I'm taking redundancy from my job of 18 years, so I hope to have a little more time on my hands for craft projects I have in mind.

I am working on building stock for my Etsy shop which I will launch in the near future, when I'm happy with my stock levels and I hope to sell hand crafted cushions, bunting, plaques and button art as I did in my Folksy shop.  This time around I'm going to get prepared, I hate to rush my work and love to produce great products that I would be happy to receive, so watch this space.  I'll be sure to share my work on the blog too.

So there you go, I'm glad to be back, be sure to follow me!

Contemplation...

I'm going to have a break from blogging. I need to contemplate why I'm blogging? for whom I'm blogging? what I really want to blog about?

I'm restless. I can't decide on my blog design and always change it. Is that normal or does it tell me I am dissatisfied with it?

So here's where I'm at...I'll have a break, read some other blogs and make some decisions. TTFN ~x~

Yep, changed it again but I was browsing around today and saw this fabulous colour palette and thought 'I just gotta do it!'....so I did.

I made me a button...

Yes indeed, I made me a button!

I'm not gonna lie and say I did it all by myself, no I used good old Google and found a good 'how to', thank you eHow . Here's my button, you can grab it on my sidebar.

I'm really loving my new colour scheme and theme.....you know I think this might be it for me, wow! TTFN ~x~

In those wise words of Britney Spears, yep I've done it again.

I wish I could be satisfied with my blog graphics but I just wasn't, so I've change the colour to see if this will help!

Blogs are what we make them ....

So I've been checking out various blogs, some of my favourites too and decided that I wasn't completely happy with mine....I know, I know I've only been doing this for a few days, but I wasn't too sure on the layout.....I love my header (thanks Sarah ~x~).

Anyway, I've made a few changes and so far so good, let me know what you think.....

I have yet another bag of unwanted clothes to take to the charity shop but something made me look through the bag again and I was slapped with so many ideas for the fabrics from the clothes and even some old jumpers, so I have begun the task of cutting the pieces into more manageable sizes, chopped off the buttons and they have been stowed away for other projects.

I hope to have some photos up at the weekend of what I've been working on, so check back soon!  TTFN ~x~
